Traditional therapy works at the level of conscious insight. It helps you understand your patterns through talking, analysing, and strategizing. But protective patterns are not stored in your conscious mind. They are encoded in your body's cellular memory and your subconscious blueprint. they were  formed before you had language to name them.

No labelling or parts work

Unlike IFS or typical parts work, SMGI® does not categorise or summon parts. I speak only to your Central-Self, so your internal authority strengthens and decides the order of importance. And, you are not dependant on any method or practitioner.

Deeper than inner child work

Most inner child work stops at noticing or comforting. In SMGI®, younger and protective parts are gently unburdened, reconnected, and reintegrated into the Central Self, creating lasting internal cohesion, not momentary relief.

No tools, techniques. No scripts.

There are no affirmations, cognitive exercises, or strategies to apply. You are not trying to change anything. You are accessing the part of you that still carries the pattern, unburdening and welcoming it home to the Central-Self.

What an SMGI® Session Actually Feels Like

Most people expect SMGI® to feel like meditation, hypnosis, or guided relaxation, but it’s different. It’s gentler. More conscious. More spacious. Deeply attuned to your body, your subconscious, and your Central-Self.

You remain aware.
You remain in choice.
Your subconscious leads.
Your Central-Self decides.
My role is simply to guide the journey with attunement, clarity, and care.

  • There’s no requirement to relax or feel calm. You simply arrive as you are, and we start from there. There is nothing to get right. Nothing to perform. Nothing to manage. I guide your attention to shift  inward, not forced, not controlled, just enough to notice what’s present.

  • I guide your Central-Self inward through guiding prompts that gently direct your attention. You remain conscious, aware, and in choice throughout.

     

    SMGI® works with imagery as the natural language of the subconscious. Imagery is a right-brain process, allowing sensations, emotions, memories, meanings, and bodily states to be expressed all at once, often more clearly than words.

     

    Words and logical language belong primarily to the left brain. While they are essential for understanding, many times they tend to organise, interpret, and conclude quickly because of our extensive logical thinking and training in our lifestyle. In this work, we slow that impulse so imagery has space to fully convey its message before meaning and language is formed.

     

    The imagery, insights, and direction arise from within you, not from my voice. You may notice sensations, images, colours, symbols, or subtle felt impressions that are sometimes vivid, sometimes barely there. There is no right or wrong way of experiencing this. Whatever arises is what your system is ready to bring forward.

     

    Everything that emerges remains connected to felt experience in the physical body. We are not analysing or interpreting. We are listening.

  • A younger part, a protective part, or an emotion may appear. Not because we search for it, but because your subconscious chooses what comes forward. The pace is always matched to your desire and readiness.

     

    Because your subconscious knows exactly what you’re ready for, it will not take you into overwhelm. If something is too tender to revisit directly, your system naturally softens it through symbols, distance, or gentle metaphors,  so the healing unfolds without re-triggering.

  • You are guided to gently help the part release the fear, beliefs, burdens or survival strategies it has been carrying. This release is always a felt sensation in the physical body. Then, the part is invited to reconnect with your Central Self, which is the calm, sovereign organising centre of your inner world. You don’t fix the part. You welcome it home. This is integration and again it's felt sensation in the physical body. It's as if a fragmented part comes and joins the whole.

  • SMGI® helps you reach the part of you that still carries the pattern and when that part is unburdened and welcomed back into your Central-Self, a new truth about who you are naturally emerges. Clients often arrive with an “I am…” statement.  And, when the new truth is spoken aloud, the felt sense in the body shifts.

     

    From there, we invite the subconscious to reveal scenes or moments where this new truth can be lived, allowing a new way of being to take shape. Change happens from the inside out, and you recognise it only when life presents an old pattern and you find yourself responding differently, naturally, without effort.
