Understanding Your Patterns Is Not The Same As Integrating Them.

SMGI® (Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery®) is an integrative body-mind-subconscious methodology designed for people who already understand their patterns intellectually, yet continue experiencing them automatically.

SMGI® was created by Gina Vance. Practised by Raji Navis through BodyWise Mind.

THE STUCK MOMENT

You Already Know Why.
That Is Exactly the Problem.

Traditional therapy works at the level of conscious insight. It helps you understand your patterns through talking, analysing, and strategizing. But protective patterns are not stored in your conscious mind. They are held beneath conscious awareness in the nervous system and subconscious patterning; they were  formed before you had language to name them.

This is why you can:

Insight Lives in Conscious Understanding

You know your story, your attachment style, and your triggers. That is the foundation, but it is not the solution

Protective Patterns Live Beneath Conscious Awareness

Your nervous system and the body are holding the "memory" of past events. Logical insight cannot reach these  imprints.

SMGI® Integration Happens at the Subconscious Level

We operate where your mind, body, and subconscious meet - the only place where true, lasting change occurs.

THE DISTINCTION

Therapy vs. SMGI®

TRADITIONAL THERAPY
SMGI®
Cognitive analysis & talking
Body • mind • subconscious integration
Conscious mind / behaviour
Subconscious and nervous system imprinting
Tools, techniques & ongoing practice
Automatic. New imprint does the work
Apply strategies consciously
Trust your Central-Self to lead
Conscious management of the pattern
Patterns no longer run automatically

Parts Work Without Labels

SMGI® does not name, categorise, or direct parts. The subconscious reveals what is ready organically, while the client remains connected to their Central-Self throughout the process.

Beyond Traditional Reparenting

SMGI® does not focus only on revisiting the past. Younger parts are gently unburdened and reintegrated so underlying patterns no longer runs automatically.

Beyond Behavioural Strategies

SMGI® does not rely primarily on affirmations, coping tools, or repeated mental strategies. The work focuses beneath the pattern at the subconscious  level.

“If thinking could fix it, you would have solved it by now.”

SMGI® is for the therapy-educated adult who is tired of processing and is ready to graduate.

WHO SMGI® HELPS

Do You Recognise Yourself Here?

SMGI® helps people who feel ready for a different kind of change where they have agency. Where the the relationship is built around guided self-leadership rather than dependency.

The Insight-Rich, Change-Poor Thinker

You understand your patterns clearly . Yet you feel stuck and patterns repeat.

The Relationship Pattern Survivor

You keep finding yourself in familiar dynamics, even when you can see it happening.

The High-Achiever, Emotionally Disconnected

Successful on the outside. Inwardly feeling flat, numb, or far from yourself.

The Quietly Anxious but Highly Driven Performer

The calm exterior others see does not match the tension your body is carrying

The Over-Functioning Caretaker

You carry too much, anticipate too much, and rarely feel supported in return.

The Person Carrying Stress in the Body

Your body signals through gut issues, migraines, skin flare-ups, or nervous system overload.

If something in those descriptions landed , that recognition is the readiness.

The Somatic Ceiling Mapping is a single session that maps exactly where your body is holding the ceiling and what is ready to move.

inside the experience

What an SMGI® Session Actually Feels Like

Most people expect SMGI® to feel similar to meditation, hypnosis, or traditional therapeutic processing.

Instead, the experience is highly attuned, internally aware, and guided by the subconscious intelligence of the client rather than practitioner interpretation. I facilitate this self-agency for my clients with precision, attunement, and care.

You remain aware.
You remain in choice.
Your subconscious leads.
Your Central-Self decides.

My role is to facilitate the process with precision, attunement, and care.

  • There is no requirement to relax or perform. You simply arrive as you are.

I gently guide your attention inward through body sensation, imagery, and subconscious awareness while you remain conscious and in choice throughout.

  • I guide your Central-Self inward through guiding prompts that gently direct your attention. You remain conscious, aware, and in choice throughout.

SMGI® works with imagery as the natural language of the subconscious. Imagery allows sensations, emotions, memories, meanings, and bodily states to be expressed simultaneously, often more clearly than words.

Words and analytical language tend to organise and interpret experience quickly, while imagery allows subconscious material to emerge before it is cognitively structured.

The imagery, insights, and direction arise from within you, not from my voice. You may notice sensations, images, colours, symbols, or subtle felt impressions that are sometimes vivid, sometimes barely there. There is no right or wrong way of experiencing this. Whatever arises is what your system is ready to bring forward.

Everything that emerges remains connected to felt experience in the physical body. We are not analysing or interpreting. We are listening.

  • Protective parts, emotions, or memories may emerge naturally as the subconscious reveals what is ready.

The process follows your system’s own pace and readiness rather than practitioner direction or force.

If something feels too overwhelming to approach directly, the subconscious often communicates symbolically or indirectly while remaining connected to safety and awareness.

  • Protective or younger parts are gently supported in releasing the burdens, beliefs, or survival responses they have been carrying.

This shift is often experienced as a physical change in the body: a softening, settling, loosening, or sense of internal reconnection.

The part is then reintegrated with the Central-Self, strengthening internal cohesion rather than fragmentation, and gives you renewed energy to move forward in life.

  • As the subconscious pattern reorganises, new emotional, relational, and nervous system responses often emerge naturally.

Clients frequently notice that situations which once activated automatic reactions begin to feel different without relying on conscious effort or management.

The shift is recognised not through performance, but through changed experience in everyday life.

When Insight Is No Longer The Problem

The Somatic Ceiling Assessment is designed for people who already understand themselves deeply, yet continue experiencing automatic emotional, relational, or nervous system responses beneath conscious awareness.
