This page outlines what Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery® (SMGI®) is — and is not — so you can make an informed decision about beginning this work.

By booking sessions with BodyWise Mind SMGI®, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to the information on this page.

 Nature of Services

BodyWise Mind provides Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery®, strategic psychotherapy techniques, mindfulness-based processes, guided imagery, and mind-body therapeutic mentoring.

 

These services:

  • Are non-diagnostic,

  • Are complementary to mental health or medical treatment,

  • Do not replace psychological, psychiatric, or medical care,

  • Are offered to support emotional regulation, inner work, personal development, and transformational healing.

Raji Navis is not acting as a psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical doctor.
SMGI® sessions are not intended to diagnose, assess, or treat mental disorders as defined by any governing body.

If you currently receive medical, psychological, or psychiatric care, you are encouraged to continue working with those providers.

SCOPE & TRAINING

Scope of Practice & Practitioner Qualifications

 As written in previous response

 

Your sessions may include:

  • Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery® (SMGI®)

  • Strategic psychotherapy elements

  • Mindfulness and meditation

  • Somatic awareness

  • Guided inner exploration

  • Mind–body integration processes

Training includes:

  • Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Strategic Psychotherapy

  • Certification in Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery®

  • Brainspotting Phase 1

  • 200hr Yoga Teacher Training (Biomedical Yoga & Meditation)

  • Diploma in Ayurveda

  • Level 2 Certification in HANDLE® (Holistic Approach to Neurodevelopment and Learning Efficiencies®)

  • Ongoing research and collaborative clinical inquiry into SMGI® outcomes

These modalities help you access internal resources, release restrictive patterns, and create new emotional and behavioural capacities. This process may also involve meeting and supporting younger or protective parts of the self, allowing these aspects to integrate in a safe, guided, and compassionate way.

 CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Your Responsibilities as a Client

By engaging in this work, you agree that:
 
Your sessions may include:

  • You have the capacity to give informed consent.

  • You take personal responsibility for your wellbeing and decisions.

  • You will create a private, distraction-free environment for online sessions.

  • You will attend sessions at the agreed time or provide 24-hour notice to reschedule.

  • You understand that missed appointments without appropriate notice are considered used.

 CONFIDENTIALITY

How Your Information Is Protected

Your privacy is a priority. All communication within sessions is confidential except when required by law.
Without your written consent, information is not shared with any third party.


 Confidentiality must be broken if:

  • There is reasonable belief of risk of harm to yourself.

  • There is risk of harm to another person.

  • There is suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult.

  • Information is subpoenaed by a court.

If possible, you will be informed before any action is taken.

 LIMITATIONS

 Limitations & Acknowledgements

By commencing sessions, you acknowledge that:


Confidentiality must be broken if:

  • Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

  • You remain responsible for your choices, behaviours, and life outcomes.

  • You release and hold harmless Raji Navis and BodyWise Mind from any claims arising from your participation in this work.

  • SMGI® is a supportive complementary method and is not crisis care.

  • If at any time SMGI® is not suitable for your needs, you will be guided toward more appropriate support.

 SESSIONS

 Session Structure and Communication

  • All SMGI® sessions are 2 hours.

  • Only the “Meaningful Change Guarantee” applies (if you have not noticed meaningful change by the end of Session 3, you only pay for Session 1).

  • You may place unused sessions on hold for 3 months.

  • Brief emails between sessions are welcome; extended communication may be billed accordingly.

Your Consent to Proceed

By booking your first paid session, you confirm that:

✔ You have read and understood this Disclaimer.
✔ You consent to participating in SMGI® sessions with full awareness of their nature and scope.
✔ You agree to the boundaries, responsibilities, and confidentiality terms outlined above.
