Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the BodyWise Mind SMGI® website, offerings, programs, and services. By accessing this website or booking any session, you agree to the Terms outlined below.

1. General Information

 1.1 Information You Choose to Provide

BodyWise Mind SMGI® (“I", "we”, “us”, “our”) provides Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery® (SMGI®), somatic-based inner work, emotional insight, and subconscious integration work.

SMGI® is not clinical therapy, counselling, psychology, medical treatment, or crisis support.​

2.  Eligibility to Use Services

By booking a session or using this website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or

  • You are aged 14–17 with written parental/guardian consent, and a parent/guardian may attend sessions if desired.

 

You also confirm that:

  • You are engaging voluntarily and understand the nature of this work.

  • You are not in immediate psychological crisis or requiring urgent clinical or psychiatric care.

3. Booking & Payments

  • All session bookings must be paid in full at the time of scheduling unless a payment plan is arranged.

  • Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Wix Payments).
     

Regarding card storage:
We do not personally store or access your card details.
Where a payment plan is used, the payment processor (Stripe/Wix Payments) may securely store your encrypted details to process future instalments. We cannot view, retrieve, or access this information.

3.1 Packages

  • Package sessions (e.g., the 6-Session Reset) must be used within the agreed timeframe (typically 6 months unless otherwise arranged).

  • Packages are non-transferable.

4.  Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior.

  • Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may be counted as a missed session.
     

4.2 Late Arrival

  • Sessions end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival.

  • Arriving more than 20 minutes late may result in a missed session.
     

4.3 Missed Sessions / No-Shows

  • Missed or unattended sessions are non-refundable.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Meaningful Change Guarantee (Packages Only)

Your package includes a Meaningful Change Guarantee:

If, after the third session, you feel no meaningful shift at all, you may request a refund.

  • You will be charged the full single-session rate for the completed sessions.

  • Remaining sessions will be refunded.
     

Refund requests must be made within 48 hours after Session 3.

Outside this guarantee, package payments are non-refundable.

6. Scope of Practice & Client Responsibility

SMGI® is a non-clinical modality focused on inner awareness, emotional integration, and subconscious exploration.

You acknowledge that:

  • Results vary for each person.

  • Change depends on your active participation.

  • You are responsible for seeking clinical support where needed.
     

We may refer you to another practitioner if this modality is not suitable for your needs.

7. Confidentiality

All personal information shared in sessions or through forms is confidential except where disclosure is legally required (e.g., risk of harm).

We store information securely for service delivery only.

8. Online Sessions & Technology

  • Sessions may be delivered via Zoom, WhatsApp, phone, or similar platforms.

  • You are responsible for having a private and stable internet connection.
     

If a session is interrupted due to technical issues outside our control,
we will reschedule the session at no additional cost.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, videos, educational materials, and SMGI® resources are the property of BodyWise Mind SMGI®.

You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any material without written permission.

10. Disclaimer

  • SMGI® is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.

  • We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

  • You agree to seek clinical support where required.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any direct or indirect outcomes of your participation.

  • You agree to indemnify BodyWise Mind SMGI® from any claims arising from your use of services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.
The revised date will appear at the top.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
