Your Questions,
Answered With Care
A gentle, grounded space to help you understand whether this work feels right for you.
Understanding the Approach
Each session is a guided inner experience designed to help you connect with the deeper layers of your subconscious, body, and emotional landscape.
We begin with four essential steps that gently bring you into a receptive state:-
connecting to your physical body
-
attuning to your breath and nervous system
-
engaging the creative, imaginative right brain
-
allowing the logical, analytical left brain to soften into the role of observer
From there, we follow whatever arises naturally, such as images, sensations, emotions, memories, colours, metaphors, or simply a subtle felt sense of something shifting.
You remain fully conscious, aware, and in control the entire time, continually talking to me about what you notice in your inner world so I can guide you moment by moment as it unfolds.
My role is to guide, not lead. My role is to help your body and subconscious reveal what they’re ready to resolve, at a pace that feels safe for you.-
Traditional therapy works at the level of conscious insight helping you understand why you react the way you do. That understanding is valuable, but patterns are stored deeper: in your body cellular memory and your subconscious blueprint.
SMGI® works at the body-mind-subconscious integration point, allowing the pattern to release and reorganize at the level where it was formed. This is why clients often say I finally stopped doing the thing, without having to manage or remember.
Many SMGI® clients arrive having already done excellent work with modalities like EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, or ACT. These approaches often provide vital awareness and initial healing, but they are essentially technique-based.
In SMGI®, there is no "technique."
Instead, we give full agency to your own inner wisdom. Your system is not a problem to be solved with a tool; it is a landscape of profound intelligence that already knows the exact order of importance and the depth required to make a change.
I love this process because it unfolds in a way that is entirely unique to you. It isn't influenced by my personal views, the world’s expectations, or a rigid therapeutic protocol. As your practitioner, my role isn’t to "apply" a method to you, but to be a highly capable guide who can navigate this open-ended space alongside you.
SMGI® provides the freedom for your own richness and goodness to complete the process for you, by you. Think of it as the final integration step of moving beyond "doing the work" and into allowing your inner wisdom to lead you home.
Addressing Your Doubts
You don’t need to “see” anything for this work to be effective.
We all perceive the inner world through our existing senses — sound, sensation, temperature, movement, colour, intuition, or simple knowing. Even people with aphantasia (2–4% of the population) or those who are blind dream, imagine, and process through other sensory channels.
I’ve worked with clients who
– only sensed energy,
– only felt subtle shifts in their body,
– only perceived colours swirling and changing,
– or simply “knew” without seeing.
The process meets you where you are.
Curiosity is the only requirement.Absolutely. This work was made for people like you.
I was that person: analytical, sceptical, highly logical.
I went into SMGI® thinking it was “woo-woo,” but the internal shift I experienced by session three was so profound that I spent the next two years learning and researching how this was possible through neuroscience and somatics.
Your mind doesn’t get in the way, it becomes part of the process. You don’t have to believe in anything. Just be open to noticing.
It’s extremely common to think nothing has happened, while something essential is already shifting beneath the surface.
Your subconscious knows what to prioritise, and sometimes the first change is simply releasing overwhelm or giving the nervous system permission to rest.
One client slept through three sessions and was convinced “nothing happened”. Yet within weeks, every part of his life began reorganising: clarity around financial decisions, unexpected relational breakthroughs, and a return of energy he thought he’d lost.
Many clients report that the shift wasn’t what they expected, but it was exactly what they needed.
Some notice physical or emotional ease.
Some see patterns dissolve.
Some feel a subtle but undeniable sense of internal space.
The form varies. But shift always happens when the body and subconscious finally have a pathway to communicate.
Not at all. This isn’t talk therapy, and you never have to retell your entire story.
You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right.
The subconscious doesn’t need detailed retelling — it simply needs a safe pathway to express, release, and reorganise what’s been held inside.
Many clients appreciate that this process is private, internal, and deeply respectful of their boundaries.
If emotion rises, that’s the part of you asking to be heard, soothed, or integrated. Nothing is “too much” here.
Overwhelm is not a problem; it’s information.
It tells us a protective layer is ready to soften.
We work at your pace, with deep grounding and compassion, so you always feel safe and supported.
Results & What to Expect
Shifts tend to occur in the areas the subconscious prioritises first. It is often emotional regulation, energy levels, relationship patterns, and physical tension.
Common experiences include:
-
feeling less reactive or overwhelmed
-
unexpected emotional ease
-
clarity around decisions
-
relief from long-held physical or emotional tightness
-
improved sleep
-
reduced cravings or compulsive behaviours
-
a sense of coming back to oneself
-
changes in relationships and communication
-
a grounded confidence or self-trust
Every person’s journey is unique, but the theme is the same: a return to inner alignment.
-
Often immediately during the session, a release, or an internal “click" and a change in the physical sensation in the body.
But the most meaningful changes are noticed in daily life:-
reacting differently (or not reacting at all)
-
feeling calmer where they’d usually spiral
-
pausing instead of people-pleasing
-
boundaries emerging naturally
-
craving patterns dissolving
-
sleep returning after years
-
moments of clarity or courage appearing without effort
It’s often the absence of old reactions that reveals the transformation.
-
Most people benefit from the 6-Session Reset, because it allows the body and subconscious to complete a meaningful cycle of integration.
Single sessions can offer clarity, but sustained change comes from moving through the specific stages of the SMGI® journey, from safety to discovery, release, integration, and embodying and practicing the new way of being.
You’ll find the full explanation on the Offering Page.
Safety & Support
SMGI® is not therapy and is not a replacement for clinical treatment or medication.
It is a completion-focused methodology for people who have done therapy/coaching and intellectually understand their patterns, but still experience automatic body-level reactions.
You can do SMGI® alongside therapy or medication many clients do.
However, if you are currently in crisis or need clinical support, please seek appropriate professional help first.
Yes. Many clients work with me alongside therapy, psychology, psychiatry, or medication.
SMGI® does not replace clinical care. It complements it by working with the body and subconscious in ways talk-based approaches can’t always reach.
If you have a treating practitioner, we simply ensure the work aligns safely with your support.
Everything is detailed transparently on the Offering Page, including session structure and package options.
Payment plans are available for longer journeys, and we can discuss what feels supportive and sustainable during our initial 30 minutes Clarity Call.
Readiness isn’t about being “fully prepared.” It’s about feeling a quiet sense of yes, even if there’s uncertainty.
The starting point with 3 Reflection questions followed by a 30-minute clarity call helps you explore whether now is the right time, emotionally and practically.
It’s gentle, grounding, and meant to support clarity, not pressure. Your inner world will tell you the rest.
