The Integrative Mind–Body Guide Behind BodyWise Mind

Where science, somatics, and the subconscious come together to heal what talk alone cannot.

I help thoughtful, high-functioning adults reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve outgrown, abandoned, or never had language for.

Through SMGI® — a somatic, mindful guided imagery process that gently works with parts and integration — I guide people into an inner experience where their patterns finally make sense, and can begin to soften into clarity, freedom, and emotional integration.

Who I help

I Work With People Who Are Strong on the Outside — Yet Carry Unspoken Depth Within

My clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and often high achievers. They’ve built impressive lives, but not always in alignment with their central self. Many come to me after years of talk therapy, self-development, or mindfulness, aware of their patterns but unable to shift them.

They’re not looking for a quick fix.

They’re looking for a safe place to understand the truth beneath the surface and finally transform it through their own agency - not mine.

How I Work.
A Fusion of Science, Somatics & Subconscious Integration

Although my background spans a wide range of somatic, psychological, and brain-based frameworks, the work I practise with clients is SMGI®.

SMGI® is a somatic, mindfulness-based guided imagery process that gently works with parts, inner landscapes, and integration. It allows the inner system to reveal what is ready to shift, without force, analysis, or storytelling.

My wider training provides the framework, while SMGI® honours the client’s inner process, unfolding at the pace and depth their subconscious knows is right.

What Clients Experience

Clients Often Say This Work Feels “Anciently Modern”

Most describe it as the first time their mind, body, and subconscious finally worked together - not forced, not analysed, but gently guided back toward wholeness.

My Journey

The Journey That Shaped
My Work Today

My path has never been linear. I began in structural engineering and climate policy, fields driven by logic, systems thinking, and complex problem-solving. Over time, I realised that the most intricate systems weren’t external, they were internal: the emotional patterns, inherited imprints, and subconscious responses shaping our lives.

My own exploration took me through many pathways, yoga, somatics, breathwork, meditation, strategic psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis, brainspotting principles, and trauma-aware frameworks. Each opened a different window into how humans heal.

But everything converged when I encountered SMGI®.

SMGI® brought together what I instinctively knew:
the body remembers what the mind rationalises,
and the subconscious expresses what the body cannot voice.

SMGI® was the first approach that allowed all three — body, mind, and subconscious to work together in a safe, structured, deeply intuitive way.

My curiosity about why SMGI® works so effectively led me into ongoing collaboration with an Austrian university on a clinical research project exploring its integrative mechanisms.

It became the work I now offer.

The BodyWise Mind Approach

My Approach

SMGI® is powerful on its own, but the way it’s guided shapes the experience.

  • While I follow the SMGI® structure with integrity, my guidance comes from a state of presence that feels grounded, open, and deeply attuned. Some describe it as a “higher-self” awareness or a field of unconditional regard.

To clients, it simply feels like being with someone who is fully present and witnessing without judgment, agenda, or interpretation.

  • Rather than analysing or interpreting what appears, I support your Central Self to lead the way. This keeps the work safe, internally led with your agency, and aligned with what your system is ready for without overwhelming you.

  • Nothing is pushed. Nothing is rushed. I stay attuned to your systems pace -breath changes, pauses, images, sensations, and emotional cues guide the next step. You are not left to navigate your inner world alone. I guide you to connect to supporting figures from your subconscious to navigate your way where needed. Irrespective of what has been encountered, I always bring you to a place of safety before you leave the session.

  • My engineering and research background helps me see patterns and structure. My somatic and trauma-aware training helps me feel nuance and timing. Together, they create a style of guidance that is:
    logical and intuitive,
    structured and spacious,
    practical and deeply human.

  • There are no scripts, affirmations, or cognitive exercises. You’re not trying to change anything through tools or techniques.

SMGI® helps you reach the part of you that still carries the pattern and when that part is unburdened and welcomed back into your Central Self,
change is effortless from the inside out.

Invitation

If You Feel Something Here,
Trust That.

You don’t need to be fully ready.

You only need to be willing to explore your inner world with support.
